Leading the Future of Smart Nanomedicines ! PHI BIOMED has been founded by Dr. Wonjin Park of the Wonjin Beauty Medical Group and Prof. Sei Kwang Hahn of the world class POSTECH, specialized in smart biomaterials. It is an emerging biopharmaceutical company focusing on development of cosmetic surgery products, medical materials, biomedical products for drug delivery and regenerative medicines for tissue engineering.

PHI is the combination of the first letters of Dr. Park and Professor Hahn, and Incorporation. Our company strives to become a global biopharmaceutical company able to compete with international pharmaceutical companies on the basis of Professor Hahn’s research activities at LG Life Science and Hoffman-La Roche.

We won the Korean President Award in 2015, the Korean Minister of Health and Welfare Award in 2017,
and the Korean Minister of Education Award in 2013.

Joint Research with Harvard Medical School: PHI BioMed is carrying out various joint projects through world best research networks. In collaboration with Harvard medical school, PHI BioMed is preparing a new-age healthcare generation. PHI BioMed will grow to become a global bio-pharmaceutical company with outstanding research.Prof. Sei Kwang Hahn of POSTECH developed a theranostic system using a waveguide hydrogel to deliver light to encapsulated optogenetic cells on the basis of his sabbatical research at Harvard(Medical School) during 2012-2013. This work was published in a world renowned Nature Photonics Scientific Journal and introduced on SBS, Arirang TV, and other media.
